The progress of metro rail in Bangalore is quite good and soon we will be freed from the bottleneck created by all these ‘Namma Metro’ roadblockers (not really in few days, few months !
).
By the way if you had read the ‘Namma Metro’ status , one can make out that the development is right on track.
Byappanahalli, which was not so famous station once upon a time, is going to be a major stop in ‘Namma Metro’. This station acted as a junction for goods trains which used to divert to the goods yard at Banaswadi. With ‘Namma Metro’ it is going to be a very spacious metro train terminus in addition to the existing railway station.
Following are some snaps of Byappanahalli station which is getting ready to become a major hub in Bengaluru’s ‘Namma Metro’.
As you know there is a bridge over the existing railway line and has a road towards NGEF, Kasturi Nagar etc. The snaps are from either side of the bridge. On the second snap, the building on the far end is RMZ Infinity where Google India’s Bangalore office is, along with few other companies.
